	NEWS FROM LOGGIN' COUNTRY!

NOTE 1: Here's a recent list of the "missing in action" folks
from helpdesk central...

	* ANGIE MURPHY...off for the weekend with a group
	of teenagers (poor Angie;-) I invite a sub for the
	Murphster. Any takers?

NOTE 2: We have decided to dispense with the monthly 
usergroup meetings down at the WCDPL. Over the last
several months, they have been attended almost totally
by members of the helpdesk crew only. This gave me an 
idea (oh no!) Why not replace the monthly usergroup 
meetings with monthly get togethers of the WCNet staff
and volunteers? We could gather informally and discuss 
neat new things (like our "Helpers" and "Jitterbug"
helpdesk programs). We could even provide some helpdesk
volunteer training (what a concept!) Anyhow, I would be
most interested in knowing what the rest of you might 
think of this idea. Let me know! Thanks!
 
NOTE 3: Monday October 15, 2001 was OFFICIALLY the WCNet's
6th BIRTHDAY!!! There WILL be a party AND here's some info...

	* SUNDAY November 25, 2001, 2:00p to 5:00p down
	at the Al-Mar Lanes in BG. (ask Steve Herber for
	directions and bowling instruction;-)

	* You will each receive an invitation via USPS. 
	Additional and truly useful details AND RSVP 
	instructions will be included with the invite!
