	NEWS FROM LOGGIN' COUNTRY!

NOTE 1: Here's a recent list of the "missing in action" folks
from helpdesk central...

	* NONE that I know of.

NOTE 2: The next (and quite possibly last) WCNet usergroup
meeting will happen... Thu 10/25/2001 down at the WCDPL
computer lab. Post time is 7:00p. Drop by if you can. We
would really enjoy your company! 

NOTE 3: Steve Herber sez that the new, super & duper 
woody is "almost" ready to come out to PLAY! Look for a 
MUCH faster server online in the next couple of weeks. 
Hopefully the sluggish mail transport and other recent
nasties will become but "fond" memories. Cool! 

NOTE 4: Monday October 15, 2001 is OFFICIALLY the WCNet's
6th BIRTHDAY!!! There WILL be a party! I don't have all 
the details yet, but I do know this...

	* Sunday November 18, 2001, 1:00p ? to 4:00p

	* The Al-Mar! Bowling will happen after the
	birthday-type festivities. 

	* This will be a family affair...spouses, siblings,
	offspring, SOs, etc will all be welcome. You should
	receive an invitation via USPS. RSVPs will be 
	solicited, no doubt. 

	* There will be a birthday cake, food, and drinks
	aplenty. 

	* Other stuff...?

That's about all I know so far, so I better quit while I'm 
behind;-)
