A person with the e-mail address of Gloria sent you a very large joke that was
clogging your mailbox. I removed it for you along with some obvious junk mail.

You've got a six hour connection block now. I'd still try after 11p and before

We recently got the quotas enabled again, that's why you were able to have the
pictures in there and not have any problems prior to this. Removing the
pictures put you under quota and you should be fine now.

We had AT&T run a test and they reported they could sync with your modem and
got
good ping speeds. You may want to check the firewall settings on the computer.

The problem was you had too much mail. I increased your quota so you'll be able

We found the issue and are working frantically to resolve it. It only appears
to affect mail coming from outside WCNet. I don't have Shelby's phone number to
let her know and, for now, can't send her an e-mail. If you want to let her
know the status of the issue, that'd be great.

With Win7, you need to use a different accelerator. It's not a download, all
you have to do is make some adjustments.

Go into Internet Explorer and click on tools/internet options. Click on the
connections tab. Click on the settings button. Put a checkmark in use proxy
server. For the proxy server name put: fastweb.wcnet.org. Change the port
number from 80 to 8080. You can then adjust from 8080 to 8083 for speed and
graphic clarity.

That's it.

For the Win98 machines, download the accelerator program here:

http://www.wcnet.org/downloads/web_accel.exe

It's Kirk from WCNet. For all the help I've given you on the web page stuff,
I'm calling in a favor. Aaron Robinson is having somebody send him some huge

e-mail.

Could you have Aaron call us so we can help get this figured out.

Thanks,

This is Kirk from WCNet. I've been working with one of your techs to get
service to 1736 Shannon, apt. B. That's the address in VFO and the address per

Is there anything you can do on your end to get the work order set to the right

Thanks for any help you can give.

I've been trying to contact you but every time I call, the phone is busy.

The problem is not on our end. What is happening is that your e-mail program is
set to leave a copy of messages on the server. You need to get into the
settings and tell it to remove the messages.

If you let me know a good time to call, I'll try to make arrangements to do so.

Happy Holidays!

Denise sent me a message you were having a mail problem. Turns out your account
was over quota. I boosted the quota so you can get in and clean things out.

Make sure your mail program is set to remove the messages from the server. That
should prevent going over the quota again.

I also boosted your spam filtering. That should help too.

There are a lot of changes from Win98 to Win7, that's for sure. One of the main
ones is that Microsoft no longer makes Outlook Express (if that's what you had
been using).

However, there is a real nice e-mail program you can download for free. It's
called Thunderbird. Get it here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/

Once you download it, give us a call at 877-729-2638 opt.2 and we'll help you
set it up. This way you'll have a working e-mail program.
